blissful day

After rotting myself off at home for the past few days, I finally dragged myself outta the cozy bed of mine for an awesome brunch with Veron and *drums roll* Jaslyn!!! Hhahha missed the girl so much since she's always too stressed up with her new uni life / falling sick.

Our first stop was Tiong Bahru Bakery located at 56 Eng Hoon Street (the area is seeded with lots of quirky cafes!). Was told by Veron that the bakery was opened by a French celebrity baker (Gontran Cherrier?) and the Spa Esprit group. Even tho we went on a supposedly quiet Monday, the bakery was already quite crowded! :o Their croissant was said to be one of the nicest in Singapore... wells, like what Veron commented, it was less buttery than what most croissant suppose to be. Maybe cos they wanna adjust to the local's taste buds.


Followed after the bakery was Drips Bakery Cafe, which was just a walking distance ahead. We tried their B&B pudding and Apple Cinnamon tart. Yumss.

After I parted with the girls, I had dinner at my all time favorite chicken restaurant, Nandoo's with Yvonne! :D Been a long long longggggg while since the last time we met up :( Both of us were equally busy with work and school. Can't wait till her exams are over and we can have more time catching up! Heehee. Oh yeah, we caught The Avengers (I know we're damn slow since everyone have already watched it damn long ago) on a last minute impulse... but omg, the movie is really really so damn funny!!! I've never thought that the Hulk would be so freaking cute! :P

same sky, different time

Met up with the girls for a belated celebration of Veron's birthday awhile back at 15mins. They're all missed dearly and finally we got the time to meet.. but poor Jaslyn couldn't make it cos she was feeling unwell. :(( In a few days time (4 days to be exact), I'll be officially joining these girls as the "graduates of 2011". You just wouldn't know how happy they are for me. Or rather, how happy I am for making this decision.

Definitely gonna take a good break!! Thinking of it, I had been working non stop for the past 5 years of my life ever since graduating. I always start a new job immediately when I quit from my previous job. So yeah, I'm gonna pamper myself for a long holiday. :D Even tho I'm still quite lost and unsure about what I'm gonna do next, there have been a bunch of lovely people who are supportive of my dreams. Really grateful to them :) Be it relatives, or friends. I hope I wouldn't let any one down!

Seriously was close to tearing reading that :'( Especially thinking of all the happy times (and shit) we both went through together. Can confidently announce that we've been through "thick and thin" T-T

Queen In Hyun's Man

I was told there is no such thing as coincidence.

There is a cause and effect behind everything.

I'm resisting all temptation to post up a fan made MV of Queen In Hyun's Man cos I don't wanna be a spoiler. So yeah, here's a song that you'll feel for it after watching the show! Hahah all QIHM fan would totally agree with this being one of the most heart-throbbing song.

Both mom and I are once again dying for the next week's episode to come. It has been awhile since both of us are chasing after a kdrama. Lol.. if I'm not wrong, the last one was 49 Days - which is so damn good too. At the end of episode 10, both of us were like crying tears of happiness. Hahahaha.. And a random fact I actually found out yesterday: Yoo In Na is 30 years old already?!!!!!!!! Ji Hyun Woo is actually 2 years younger than her. OMGGG. Is she a vampire, seriously?!!
